Parents
Hello and welcome to the First Steps website.
Parenting is an extremely important and rewarding job, but it can sometimes be tiring, frustrating, and demanding.
Children don’t come with an instruction book, although sometimes we wish they did. Problems with school, behaviour and emotions are common to many families, and sometimes a bit of support can make a lot of difference.
Sometimes parents also need help with how they are feeling. Parenting can be even more difficult if you are feeling depressed, anxious or very stressed. In certain areas, if your children are under the age of 8, then First Steps can help with this too.
First Steps is here to help with a wide range of issues that parents and children have to face. On the right you will find links to all of the services that we offer, and clicking on these will give you more detailed information on them.
We hope that you have found the site both easy to use and useful, and we look forward to hearing from you if you think that we can help in any way.
